Told from the perspectives of three Ridgedale women, Kimberly McCreight's book shows us that the past eventually catches up to all of us. I found the characters to be well-developed and the plot was very interesting. All the twists culminate into a surprise ending. I have also read McCreight's "Reconstructing Amelia" and enjoyed that book too. If you like psychological suspense then you will enjoy this book.
