This book had me guessing who the culprit was from the beginning. I never guessed it would be...well, I'm not saying! It has some slow moments, but all in all, it was good.

Great fun to read-convincing rich in detail and as usual once you start reading, you won't be able to stop.
A story of murder, glamour, and romance. Neeve is worried about the disapperance of her friend,but she seems to be alone in that. Then when she turns up murdered, Neeve is drawn back to her mother's unsolvrd murder and she drawn into this new nightmare. You won't be sure who the guilty one til the very last, given many suspects to mull over.
Comes up to all her other novels, with suspenseful ending.
I simply could not put this bookd down. MHC has done it again with this one. A great suspensful story with a great unexpected twist in the end. This makes for a great read!!

lots of tantalizing red-herrings are dangled before the reader, but they will not be able to guess the shocking and twisted motives of the actual murderer until the final pages!
I really like her writing and style of mystery. Just enough intrigue to keep me reading, yet not over the top on scary.
I'm a big fan of all Mary Higgins Clark books. It's been awhile since I read this one, but I've liked them all!
