Enjoyed Babson as usual. Love her way of writing. Read with Paws for Alarm, stand alones, but connected.
It is hard to believe that Marion Babson is really an American because her books are so very British. In this book, she has Brits in the USA. As usual, there are cats involved, and we finally have an American cat! I like British mysteries when they are written by Brits, and Marion Babson might be an American, but you can tell she is a "British" author!
After the tragic death of her husband, British Housewife, Rosemary Blake accepts a summer house and cat exchange across the Atlantic in her sisters adopted town of Edgemarsh Lake, New Hampshire. Lulled by beautiful scenery and a day camp for her 2 children; she heads across the Atlantic.
She arrives to meet a Maine Coon Cat , all 28 pounds of him ;Errol who is out all night and up to no good. Plus there is a rash of deadly fires. Does Errol Know something? Rosemary starts investigating the fire; hoping to stop a deadly killer.
