This is a great book in itself you do not have to read the 1st one. A woman recieves an inheritance of a mansion on a remote island and she finds way more than she bargained for including her husband who disappeared 10 years before. Great

Although the book starts slowly, it picks up after the first chapter and grabs you. Very good story
