The Clark family has a real feel for the suspense novel. This member has set her mysteries around a television network's news division in NYC. Her main character is an up and coming producer of a 60 Minutes-like news program. She is working on a story of the diappearance of a young boy from the old Palisades Amusement Park, not knowing that both she and her superiors at work have ties to the incident. The plot twists and turns are engrossing and I had a hard time putting this one down.

So-so mystery whose final details just don't quite hang together. The discovery of a skeleton at the former site of an amusement park sets off a chain of murders that may or may not be related to the 30-year-old mystery.
Laura Walsh writes obituaries of famous people, but then she on the serch for a killer, and will the next obituary written be Laura's. It can keep you guessing right up to the end.

This plot was completely unrealistic, but it did make a pretty good story if you just ignore that fact.
This Book was easy reading with lots of twists and plots with a surprise ending.

Enjoyed it.
Suspense, treachery, troubled psyches, and flawed relationships go beyond romantic suspense into the heart's darkest realms.
Good mystery.
Reporter Laura Walsh's KEY News colleagues jokingly call her the "Angel of Death" because of her uncanny ability to have celebrities' obituaries ready to roll-even for people who are not expected to die. It seems someone's been "whispering" in Laura's ear, tipping her off to secrets about some of the rich and famous who don't have long to live.
When the remains of a 12-year old boy, missing for 30 years, are discovered buried where the legendary Palisades Amusement Park once stood, Laura sees her chance to move beyond the obits to "Hourglass," KEY News' answer to "60 Minutes." But when glamorous "Hourglass" host Gwyneth Gilpatric meets a devastating end, Laura's ready-to-air obit raises not only the suspicions of her co-workers, but of the police as well.

Kept me guessing lots of sub plots.
Mary Jane Clark writes as good as, if not better than her mother, Mary Higgins Clark. A must read !!!!!!!!
Enjoyable to read; great mystery with a surprising ending.
