It has been years since I read this book so I do not remember the details but it was good enough for me to purchase subsequent novels in the series. If you enjoy the card game..you will enjoy the book.
Gull should have known better than to take the job. But with his village destroyed and a half-wit sister to look after, what choice did he have? At least the pay was good.
