I thought this would be a fun book to read because it's Halloween month. This is a spin-off on the "Krewe of Hunters" series that I've read a few novellas in. This is the first in a trilogy that takes the action off to Europe. This stands alone I thought (as someone who hasn't read much in the original series, I didn't feel lost).
This had a really good start but quickly got bogged down with too much information, too many details about things that were not relevant to the story (nor were they things that held my interest), and I thought things got repetitious after a time. Disappointing.
The 2 main characters, Della and Mason are likeable enough.
