A great book written by a fantastic author. The story focuses on a girl who loses her parents in a terrible accident and her relationship with her grandfather, her cousins, aunts, friends and eventually someone that loves her.

I really enjoyed this book. It is really great to see that with the Lord's help people can change and become renewed despite the many obstacles life throws at them.

Took me a bit to get into this one since it was very different style from other books by Lori Wick that I have read. It was not what I expected and was an excellent book with a satisfying ending.

This book was very enjoyable. It is the first book I have read by this author. The story deals with family strife, reconciliation, and the rediscovery of Christian faith.

For Christain Fiction it seemed like this book was written by two different authors. The first half (literally) of the book was a sweet, clean story and only once mentions God (when the 11 yr old asks if there is a heaven). Then just after the halfway point suddenly its a fundemental Christain story where praying and preaching and needing to save everyone is on every page. It was like it was a different book. I stuck to the end, even through the thread of the book seemed broken because I wanted to know the end for the characters that were so well developed in the first half of the book. Either writing style would have been fine for this story if it had been consistant through the whole book but the abrupt transition broke the story for me. I was also disappointed with the title because it was not a 'theme' through the book like the implication on the cover indicated.

Lori Wick is one of my favorite authors. I have read most of her novels, but this one has a totally different storyline and I was disappointed in it. She is a good writer, but this is not my favorite novel.
The book starts off slow. "White Chocolate Moments" is set in current day. The main character, a promising dancer and straight "A" student, loses her parents in a car crash before she is a teenager and goes to live with her wealthly grandfather. Enter in a jealous cousin, the grandfather's favorite grandchild, and the reader figures out quickly that the main character is in trouble of the adolecent kind.
Things come to a head when the main character graduates from schools and without saying goodbye, leaves home and gets her first job. Along the way she meets some people she ends up becoming great friends with and works for a company with a kind, great looking owner, but because her past relationships are a a mess, she cannot allow herself to move on with her life.
This story focuses on the cause and fix of strained relationships and how this affects futures relationships. It is also about how God can help each character learn to forgive when they allow Him to be a priority in theit lives.
I believe that Lori Wick's writing is best when she does period pieces. For example, many of her books are written during WWII, the wild west, and some are written to refelct Jane Austen's time, to name a few.
This book would be better suited for the teen reader.

I loved everything about this book! It captured my interest from the first and was a definite "couldn't put it down" from chapter to chapter. The challenges the main character goes through and how her relationships are woven throughout are complex and interesting. Loved this book!
Really enjoyed!
I had a difficult time putting this book down. It keeps you wondering.
This was a great read!
Enjoy all of Lori Wick's Books!!
