Yeah, I'm a late comer to this - I should have read it when I was 12. I'm mumble now.
Anyway, even though I'm not the target audience, this was fun on a lot of levels. Chivalry. People. History.
And supposedly reincarnations of the characters of Robin Hood (dipped if I recognized them though).
Anyway, the characters were cleaned up versions of the medieval mindset to make them palaptable to the Victorian reader and as such were different and interesting.
Worth the time and energy folks.
