Reading this book was almost like staring at the aftermath of a car accident. You can't bear to look because it's horrific, but you somehow can't help yourself.

The images that the author painted in this book have stayed with me, weeks after I finished it. It's hard to imagine that this really happened, and that people can be so cruel to little boys.

I strongly encourage anyone that works with children, or even has children, to read this book.

I liked this book. It was a sad, tragic story about how our children were treated in the one place where they should have been taken care of and treated. It was an easy book to read but quite short. It was fairly well written.
