White Shark is an EXCELLENT book! I like to read shark attack books, but this is different. There is much more to this book then just a shark eating people. Great, fast paced story and characters that you really care about. This monster is CRAZY, I've never read about anything like it!

This was a great summer read. I found myself unable to put it down and actually more enjoyable than "Jaws". If you love sharks, you'll love this book.

A Fine thriller in the Benchley Sea Monster style. A kind of cousin to Jaws.

Thenty hugh best seller Jaws, master of the deep has done it again. Letting loose a chilling new preditior that only he could create. Drawing on his singular of the sea, and history. He masterfully spins a suspence filled novel that hits you on primal level. Makes your heart pound, and leaves your blood running cold. Read it at your own risk.

At a small marine institute off the coast of Conn. only marine biologist Simon Chase realizes that a 16 ft. pregnant Great White is feeding in the area. But Even Simon doesn;t know that a far deadlier creature is about to come out of the deep and threaten everything he cares for. A creature whose malevolence is unthinkable. Whose need to feed is insatiable and relentless hunt for prey is unstoppable.

This is not a retelling of Jaws. It is actually more sci-fi than other of his books, and was a fun read.

Quick summer read. Action filled but that doesn't salvage the plot. Nazi developed shark/human hybrid. Not very much character developement.

A Nazi scientest's late war experiment, a creature half man half machine slumbering on the ocean floor for over 50 years...this is a great page turning book! Set off the coast of Connecticut, the creature is released to scare the locals to death. A great blend of sea, science, and history this book spins a suspense-filled novel that hits you on a primal level, makes your heart pound, and leaves your blood running cold. Excellent read!!!

Not the usual Bencheley type reading and he mixes a little science fiction into the story line - which I didn't think he did with too much credibility

Good read. I swear there's a movie like this out there too, but different title?

OMG this book kept me on the edge of my seat, it took me into the very bowels of the beast so to speak. Another great ocean terror by Peter Benchley. A very fast read for taking along to the park or on a flight read it you won't be sorry you did. A cast of colorful characters and scientific mystery to keep you enthralled from cover to cover.
