This was a scary fun read but darker than I was expecting. Great characters to root for! There were many terrifying moments and some humorous moments, as well. It was way out there, at times. Quite a wild roller coaster ride. We are left hanging at the end, though. I am anxious to see where the next book may take us. And I hope for much more of Jones!
This is a terrific new series by one of my favorite authors! Elizabeth Cage has a gift! Others are trying to have her in their control. Doctor Sorenson, her late husbands boss, is trying to keep her at his asylum. But she gets unexpected help. Jodi Taylor's considerable imagination and humor is present. Loved it and the sequel.
