This is the third book in the White Trash Zombie series by Rowland. I have really been enjoying this series; it is a fun read and a unique take on zombies.

This book continues the story of the horrible corporation that is trying to use zombiness for it's own purpose. Angel gets caught in the middle of things and is trying to figure out who the bad guys and the good guys really are.

This storyline is a bit convoluted...however I do enjoy watching Angel go through her life as a zombie. It has been fun to try and watch her improve her situation. She has gone from being typical white trash to getting her life together. I continue to enjoy the irony of how being a zombie is actually helping her get herself together.

I also enjoy how real all of the characters are. They all have your normal day to day problems of making ends meet, all of them have issues, and it is fun to read about such real-life characters in such strange situations.

The storyline was a bit of a mish-mash. There's a strange zombie film being made in their area, Angel is dealing with work and trying to pass her GED, the town is flooding, and there are tons of top-secret zombie politics going on. When I sit back and think about it the storyline was kind of a mess. Still it worked pretty well for this book and I enjoyed reading it.

Mostly I just love reading about Angel; she is trying so hard to piece her life together and she is constantly fighting with her own lack of confidence and the perceptions others have of her. She struggles with so many preconceptions of who people think she is or how she should act.

Originally I think this was supposed to be the last book of the series, however..there are still some loose ends to the series that need to be tied up. So I guess I am unsure if this series is planned to continue or not.

Overall I am enjoying this series. I love the creative take on zombies and really enjoy watching Angel work to improve herself and her life....seriously its like a better life through zombism or something. If there are more books in this series I will definitely read them; they are just so fun to read and I enjoy the characters a lot. Recommended to fans of zombie urban fantasy and fans of humorous urban fantasy.
