Childhood sweethearts Leah Starr and Johnny Whitehorse had a passion so strong only the cruel deception of a twisted man forced them apart. Years later, they both returned to their hometown in complete reversals of power and finance.
The story is beautifully written, compelling and the characters are so well developed you'll remember them for years. It's a personal favorite.

Good contemporary romance, a page turner. One of Katherine Sutcliffe's best.
