Mine is Michelle Singletary who writes for the Washington Post.  She also has a few books out and her column is in other newspapers as well.

I used to listen to Clark Howard's radio show but haven't been able to lately.

On investing: Larry Swedroe, William Bernstein, Burton Malkiel, John Bogle

On personal finance: Jason Zweig, Jane Bryant Quinn, Mary Hunt, Dave Ramsey (with some reservations)

On market history: Peter L. Bernstein

Avoid at all costs: Robert Kiyosaki, Kevin Trudeau

Ben Stein is sometimes good, but very inconsistent. Sometimes his advice is awful. Dave Ramsey does a huge amount of good with his personal finance advice, but his investing advice sucks eggs. Kiyosaki and Trudeau are just scammers, IMO.

First pick investing book: The Bogleheads' Guide to Investing

Andrew Tobias - Read "The Only Investment Guide You'll Ever Need"

Ric Edelman - All his books, especially "The Truth About Money" are very good.

Suze Orman is generally good too.

As Mike W. mentioned, avoid:

Kiyosaki - He's made a lot of money by writing dozens of books on personal finance without offering specifics guidelines. He was exposed on 20/20 for this and if you look him up on John T. Reed.com you'll find an in-depth explanation of why you shouldn't listen to him.

Also avoid Dave Ramsey and David Bach -- neither one understands mortgage financing.

Michael Lewis, otherwise I go by books over authors.

The Snowball is pretty good, I've read the other biography on Buffett by lowenstein (sp?) as well

Influence is an excellent book on psychology

In no order: Geoff Moore, Rob Ringer, William S Reed. Ringer entertain, Reed intensity, Moore depth.
