We absolutely loved this book! Read this aloud to my 11, 9 and 7 year olds and we laughed & laughed. It was easy for my kids to imagine being in Frankie & Mario's shoes. Great story. Avi did it again.
With his usual penchant for mixing history (this time WW II)and imagination, Avi again presents an interesting, intriguing story - all in conversation - with lots of the radio programs from that era.
