An entertaining read. I love this series! The book isn't without its flaws, but I couldn't put it down. I zipped right through it and enjoyed every minute. It seems to me that this one was a bit darker than the two previous books in the series, and the end was sort of chilling. (Not a spoiler!)

I felt like a Big Mac munching ignoramus while reading this book. Unusually irritating from the culinary front. OK, so the author knows something about food haut cuisine. I was really turned off by the long involved descriptions of culinary delights but I didn't take the time to look 'em up in my Funk & Wagnalls.

As for the plot, yes, that was something interesting, curious twist of plot, heck it seemed to tie the plot in a knot. Story was good.
