This isn't a book I would have sought out to read - I kinda came across it "on accident." But, I'm so very glad I did.
So well written, this compilation of true stories of real families gets you hooked into life's REAL passion from the first paragraph of the preface. Po Bronson has a writing style that makes you feel like you're hearing from an old, very wise, friend - telling stories in such a way that they touch you. really touch you. After all, we all have families, don't we? :)

I had looked forward to listening to this book but was terribly disappointed...the people weren't interesting or lovable (as promised) and their stories weren't memorable or amazing, (as promised). Maybe I missed something...
