Mostly about quantum mechanics, which means that it's mostly about atoms and sub-atomic han particles breaking apart, rather than classic engineering discussion, which means it's about 40 years to late for this brittle mind to understand.

Until now I thought statistical mechanics meant getting three estimates to have your car repaired. This book explains WHY things break rather than WHEN.
