I adored this book! It is very realistic. Geralyn Lucas is a very inspirational survivor of breast cancer!
Expected it to be funnier and be able to relate more to her situation. Wasn't what I expected.....Not very many supportive people in her life. I guess it is just her life.
Fun book about a serious subject!
I love this book, very inspiring. I saw the tv movie first, but the book is much better!
For me, this was not just another book about a woman who got cancer. Many portions of the book could have been written by me, about me. She talked about real feelings and emotions, and not just humorous ways to make it through. I had a double mastectomy, and found I couldn't put the book down - it helped me understand and justify my own feelings. I would highly recommend for any woman who may be facing the same issues.

I have had a mastectomy and found her account of what she felt and went through was very similar to my experience. It was something I could relate to, and she put all in perspective. I found it a great read.

As a breast cancer survivor, I highly recommend this book. It was so uplifting during hard times.
