This book was very hard to read, and not in a bad way. Reb the 27 year old female in the book, has had a hysterectomy. I myself had a partial one at 27, and the rest was finally taken out this past month when I was 28. So this book hit home hard. Her thoughts mirrored mine exactly, and how her ex treated her mirrored what mine did to me after my surgery as well. All that made the book difficult for me to read. Trust me when I say, the emotions and thoughts are spot on in this book. There are a TON of sex scenes, involving a lot of different things from threesomes to male on male, etc etc. It doesn't leave anything out. Still a good book to read, one that even had me wanting to throw it against a wall, which I have never wanted to do that before.
Eric's story. Everyone's favorite "watcher", goofy, & kindhearted drummer. Eric is used to leftovers and not ever having groupies or woman after him first. It's lust at first site when Eric meet's their new soundboard operator Rebekah. Rebekah is Dave's sister (Their soundboard operator who was paralyzed in the Sinner's horrific bus crash) who's taking over for him while he is in physical rehab trying to walk again. Rebekah only has eyes for Trey though. Trey teases & cajoles her but doesn't want her. He actually knows she's good for Eric. Eric is head over heels and is all about winning her over. Rebekah is disappointing. She's a tease, she's whiny, needs constant validation because of a previous health issue, still has feelings for her ex fiancee, & has a psycho mother who buts into everything and is quite vicious. Eric has his work cut out for him and Trey helps him win her over and get her away from her ex with surprising insight and maneuvering. Eric' past that was discussed in Jace's story gets more information. Eric is the most talented of the band. He can play any instrument and is a great arranger. Meanwhile, Brian & Myrna are pregnant, Sed & Jess are engaged, and Jace & Aggie are going strong. Domestic bliss is blessing the Sinners so it's Eric's turn. This book is like the first three continuing in real time by each band member in what's going on at the moment.
