When I picked up this book, I had very high hopes. I love reading about the Salem Witch Trials and have even been to Salem a few times. What really turned me off to this book is the style in which is it written. It's all in verse (poetry) and while it's descriptive and interesting, it just wasn't what I was looking for. I looked up the author and it seems this is how she writes all her books. I won't say it's a bad book, it's just not the style that catches my attention and I couldn't finish it (which is rare for me). Give it a try and see what you think - but pick it up from the library first
