I really enjoyed this book. The description was fairly hokey, but so many people have given her books good reviews, I had to try it. It had a great blend of depth and light humor. I found the cosmic troublemakers to be likeable and consistant throughout the series. Her characterization is excellent, and the descriptions well done. The storyline and romance are balanced. Very good read.

My first by Nina Bangs which I admit I was a bit skeptical because well, the porn star-ish name just threw me off. But I was curious and it was available at my library so I checked it out.
This book made me think erotic-paranormal-chick lit. But I liked it! I didn't know what to expect but found myself smiling and laughing all the way through and not wanting to put it down. I will definitely read another by Ms. Bangs.

This book is rated with two stars. That may be a little harsh. I would rate it three stars. I didn't hate the book, but neither did I love it. There were several funny scenes, which is what kept me from hating the book, but I didn't like is well enough to give any of the other books in this series consideration.

I've been an avid fan of Nina Bangs' work for a while now, and wanted to read this book from the moment it hit the shelves. I've been lucky enough to read, and finish this book, and I can tell you to run, don't walk, to your nearest bookstore and buy this book right now!
Talk show host Donna Nolan doesn't believe in things like love at first sight or things that go bump in the night. She's at the Castle of Dark Dreams for one thing only -- to find out the truth about the women who call into her show saying they were seduced all night long. Eric, the castle's resident vampire, is trying to protect his, and his brothers' true identities, and take down a powerful vampire. He doesn't count on Donna, or his attraction to her. Throw in a meddlesome chocolate shop owner, an avatar of Bast (who reminded me of my own cats), a wizard, and two plants who thrive on sexual energy, and you have a read that's going to keep you up all night long.
I loved the interactions between these two characters, and their sexual chemistry scorched the pages. Kind of makes me want to have a brooding vampire all to my own
