I don't usually read romance fiction. Having said that, when i picked this book up on the last day of our yearly community booksale, I really didn't expect much. I was surprised to enjoy the fact that this author actually writes a plot line in the first of this series. I really just wanted something to occupy my time on an airplane during travel . Instead I actually got interested in the plot and the characters. So much so, that I ordered the second in the series. (I skipped the 20 or so pages of the sex scene, which did not affect the comprehension of the plot.) This book pleasantly surprised me...

Leo & Genna were secret lovers at a house party four years ago. Leo's father talked him out of marrying her. Four years later, Leo is an Earl, Genna is a companion/chaperone & their mutual attraction is undeniable. They are outed by the scandal sheets, & he marries her. Bleh.
