The final book in the four-book series about the four de Monteforte brothers. This is the story of Lucien de Monteforte, Duke of Blackheath. He is so very arrogant and manipulative, but he gets his come-uppance in the form of Eva de la Mouriere, an American who is the widow of a French aristocrat. I was worried about a happy ending right up to the last two pages of the book, but I wasn't disappointed.
I really like Danelle Harmon's style; will look for more of her books.

Very good, the end of the series, Luciens story. Not the greatest of endings, but still good.
