This is an enigmatic romance book that keeps you in suspense throughout its pages. The mystery is as enjoying to follow as the blossoming attraction between the two main characters. And there are many tantalizing peeks into the world of the supernatural. In all, I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

Picked this book up as a "quick romance break"...whoa was I surprised! This is a great mystery...has everything you could want...castles, mummies, museums, a man who wears a mask and a "you won't believe it ending".

I ordered this book based on the reviews of other members. I was a little disappointed when I realized the book was a Harlequin, but I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. It was a great story, with enough twists to keep me saying, "just one more chapter." I love the Beauty and the Beast theme.

Eh. Kind of boring and not memorable. There was too much text about the sort of mystery being solved and not enough about developing the characters or the love story.
The love scenes were not very titillating or sexy.
Probably won't be ready any others from this author.

This was a great Book! A page turner at every angle. Its a constant mystery over the who dun it. With the romance layered on top. A great story also of a woman in Victorian age trying to make her own way. Trying to come up past what society would think of her. What society deems is proper, and what is not. And along the way she wins the "beast". I was worried it might be a little to Beauty and the Beast want to be. But that is not the case at all
