I was reading 5* reviews on this book, so I was really looking forward to this being a 1-nighter for me. Daniel was an OK hero but he just never grew or matured from what he was. Corie however was just boring, uppity, and had no depth to her what-so-ever! Much less any appreciation for those around her and the lengths they were willing to go to for her.

Bottom line, it had potential but never reached it! And in the process just made for a very slow and boring read. Very disappointing! =(
