This is one of the first books featuring Ellie Haskell. The stories are set in England and the characters are real and fun, in spite of the murder and mayhem!

Newly wed Ellie Haskell meets two of the most cunning and unlikely private eyes in her charming new village of Chitterton Fells. Misses Hyacinth and Primrose Tramwell of Flowers Detection Agency have been called in by a major insurance company to investigate the deplorably high incidence of sudden death among the married men of this picturesque municipality. Fun and fast reading.
