I really liked the excitment with horses involved in this story and the descriptions the author uses to describe growing gardens, and other descriptions she uses to describe things. Cant' wait to read next in series.
I enjoyed this book! It carried me along through the trials and tragedies faced by a young Amish woman, Sadie, and her family and how their faith helped them through. When the Miller family moved from Ohio to Montana, Sadie got a job at the Aspen East Ranch in the kitchen. Her boss, Richard Caldwell and his wife, who are childless react to Sadie at opposite poles. Richard watches out for Sadie like a father whereas his wife is unnecessarily jealous.
Unexpectedly, Ezra, the man who seems to be perfect in every way tells Sadie that he fully intends to marry her. But who is the fascinating Mark who helps to rescue a dying horse and shows up at the Amish hymn sing even though he is English? Because Sadie loves horses, she is drawn to Mark.
I couldn't put this book down once I started so I highly recommend it.

Montana is like nowhere. It is beautiful, wild and free and sadie keeps several horses here. I believe that Sadie's boss Richard Caldwell's wife is pregnant.Sadie is almost killed in an accident with wild horses. She is badly injured and almost died. Her boyfriend Ezra is killed.sadie's mom disappears and is very mentally ill. Do the wild horses belong to anyone? Will Sadie be stealing if she takes one? Listening to her boss, Richard Caldwell and her dad she visits the wild horses but does not take one.
Sadie has one adventure after another. I could not put this book down it is so interesting.
