Easy to read as it's a 2 page spread per woman. Reading it got me turned on to other authors like Kate Chopin. Very interesting things you may have not known about some respected women. Hmmmm... Check it out and see what I mean.

Interesting quick read with two page bios of many interesting women. Would be a great jumping off point for further research.

Meet 150 women who gave Queen Victoria the fits! Wild Women is a delightful collection of riveting stories about our independent, iconoclastic and utterly outrageous foremothers who refused to whittle themselves down to the 19th century Victorian model of proper womanhood.

Very entertaining book. Most astonishing (to me) fact: Emily Dickinson was not a nice person. Good for a few laughs.
