This is Steve Wilde. He's the brother of Adrian and Eric and cousin to Mia. The title of the book is named after his Harley (WILDE THING). He's an ex-cop turned PI, and takes on a client named Liz. Since she's the owner of the Daily Grind (coffee specialty shop), Steve has been concentrating on her coffee not just because of her great beans. But, he wants her bad...and she wants this great looking bad boy just as badly.
Liz has a cousin who was working as a phone for sex operator, and she disappeared. So, she hires Steve to help find her. In the meantime, they explore various fantasies and scenarios as often as they can. Eventually, Liz decides to work part time at the phone place in order to get some info on what happened to her cousin. Steve pretends to be a new customer, talking exclusively with Liz. Together they are invited to the Ultimate Fantasy Mansion..and things really heat up.
A sizzling read for those who like their romance hot, hot, hot!!!

Very good book with detailed love scenes. Very Erotic.
The first in the Wilde series by this author. I loved the book and the series so far.
Steve Wilde is another Wilde brother in this series.
another great "wilde" story. this is steve & liz's story.
Serious bad boy. That's what Liz Adams thinks when she catches sight of dark, gorgeous Steve Wilde sitting at a table in her coffee house. Still, the man is the best P.i. in town, and the only person who might be able to help Liz track down her irresponsible, free-spirited cousin...if she can spend more than two minutes inhis company without surrendering to the wild fantasies dancing in her head....
Oh, baby. That's what Steve Wilde thinks every time he comes into Liz's cafe and catches sight of her sexy figure behind the counter. Now that Liz has opened the door to him, Steve intends to storm right through it, along with her defenses, and show the aloof beauty exactly what she's been missing...
Now, in a cat-and-mouse game where the thrill of the forbidden is never quite enough, a business arrangement is about to yield to pleasure...and the temptations that can only be found when hearts run wild....

Liz Adams, owner The Daily Grind ,a coffee house, has been eyeing tall, dark, handsome, bad boy Steve Wilde when he comes in for his daily caramel frappuccino, extra caramel. Wilde has obviously been checking Liz out too. When Liz' cousin goes missing, she is advised by a friend to call on Wilde, who is an excellent PI. She hires him and they start a "no strings" affair.
Liz' cousin Valerie is a phone sex operator and party girl. She was supposed to be going away for a weekend with someone she met "on the job," but after almost a week goes by and no Val, Liz feels that something bad may have happened to her. Steve and Liz both think that the only way to get information on Val's client/boyfriend is for Liz to go undercover as a phone sex operator at "The Ultimate Fantasy." A lot of phone sex and a party later the mystery is almost solved and lust has turned to love for P.I. Wilde - but Liz is afraid to commit.

Hot-- Keeps you wanting more in more than one way.
Very enjoyable. Fun, a little mystery and personal growth for both of them. Oh and the romance was nice too-grins.
very hot story!
another great Janelle Denison book. This is a great series and I love every single one of the WILDE stories.
I really liked this book. I have recently discovered this author from the Brava Bad Boys book series. I enjoy her stories because so many of them are from the male characters' and this book follows in this same line. It was the male who helped the female back to her emotional wellbeing. This book is a play on the-all-a-bad-boy-needs-is-the-love-of-good-woman. In this book, its the good woman who needs the love of a bad boy.
Our main characters are Liz Adams and Steve Wilde, older brother of Eric Wilde. Liz was introduced in Eric's story. She owns a coffee shop-not the resturant type. Steve, the private investigator, buys coffee drinks from her business often during the week. There is an attraction, but he doesn't persue her due her wearing a gold ring on third finger of the left hand. Liz finds herself in need of help with locating her missing cousin and goes to Steve for help. In order to find the cousin, Liz goes to work part time as a phone sex operator, the job held by her cousin. The long and short is that Liz and Steve share some hot phone sex, have even hotter sex, Liz quits the phone sex job, cousin returns, and Liz and Steve have a HEA.
In this book, there is another episode of adult hide and seek as was in the first story. Since there was more room in this story, the hide and seek is in much more detail. Steve also buys Liz an outfit as was done in Eric's story. Jewerly was also bought with both outfits.
In this story, Eric asks Jill to marry him. The reader is introduced to the other Wildes, especailly Mia and Steve's business partner Cam. Adrian is also featured.
The sex was very hot. I would have to give the sex scenes 4.5 chili peppers. I was a little surprised that Liz was willing to climb on Steve's lap in his office after about 30 minutes. The sex scene with the carmel was very hot. I also liked how the mansion was used to turn on Steve and Liz.
I liked Jill in the previous story. I had a more difficult time liking Liz. She was not strong enough through the majority of this book. She seemed to keep up with Steve, but she could and would not stand up to her family and her bratty, selfish cousin. When she does, it was almost too much too late.
I could not place when Steve went to college. In listening to his story about his daughter and divorce, he did not state when he went to college, yet Cam is an old college friend.
I would recommend this book, especially if reading the series. My mild dislike of Liz was not enough to make me put the book down, I just expected more of her character. If reading more for sex, then is a great book.

score one for the older bro. good read.
Hot! Hotter than Lori Foster!!
This is a very sexually explicit book all the way through. After awhile, you get a little tired of all the sex.
While I really enjoy the whole Wilde family, this book didn't have quite enough actual story for me and had way too many sexual romps. I never really felt the romantic connection between Steve and Liz, although they spent most of the book burning up the sheets. LOL
