I really like Christina Dodd...but I could predict at least the first 80 pages...it was almost detail for detail on Sabrina. Still, Sabrina (the latter version) is one of my fave movies, so I did enjoy the book.

The story is much along the lines of "Sabrina", but still an enjoyable read.

This was a good book and fun to read. I enjoyed the Celeste Garrick interaction, the children, actually I enjoyed all the characters. I've enjoyed several of Christina Dodd's books and this was another good one with a surprisingly strong female character.

loved this book could not put it down till I was done
This is one of my favorites by Christina Dodd. It puts me in mind of the plot for the movie "Sabrina" with Harrison Ford. At least that's what I pictured as I read it. :) I liked both characters and wouldn't mind being stuck in that room with the hero! Hot, hot, hot!
Looking for love beyond her station...if you are going to dream - why not dream big! Christina Dodd does it again - good read.

A good read...a Sabrina type story set in the 1840's.
In 1840s England Celeste, a gardener's beautiful daughter, discovers she loves the oldest brother on the estate where she serves, and not the younger as she always thought she did as a child.

Book #4 in the Governess Brides Series; another delightful novel by Christina Dodd. Fans of the classic movie "Sabrina" will enjoy this story that is loosely based on that film.
