A wonderful classic. I wouldn't consider this a childrens book. Spend an afternoon on the porch or deck with a glass of sweet tea and the gang. Reconnect with Mole, Ratty,Toad ,and Badger. I promise they are reminders of people in your on life. What at Hoot. This copy has great pen illustrations through out. Nothing better than messing around in boats or books!!!!!!

This is a classic children's book I bought because it was my mother's favorite. I found it to be funny and charming. Tells various stories of animal characters with human characteristics, like those in Winnie-the-Pooh, but for older readers. Not preachy or heavy-handed.
