Good book about a woman juggling career and family including her father who is dying/dies of throat cancer, a new job, and her husband struggling with opening his own law firm. And she has to realize what is most important - family and friendships and finding the right balance. Lots here that resonated with me. Good story too, some more substance than just easy chick lit.
A Window Opens by Elisabeth Egan is the very real and very relatable-to-me story of Alice Pearse and her struggle to balance work, marriage, family, and friendships. The references to other books and commentary on the book world of Alice's job make this an even more enjoyable story for me. A touching tale of finding the story in which you belong.

Not my normal reading type and it took a little to get into, but once I did, I couldn't put it down. Very intriguing!
