It's a series of portraits of the people in fictional Winesburg, so it's not a plot-driven book, but rather one that invokes a sense of place & time.
I feel like a traitor to the lit community for only giving this book 2 stars. I tried SOOOOO hard to like it. I really did. I just didn't care for the literary style, characters or stories.
