I adored this book. A wonderful uplifting read that gives you more than readers escape but a uplifting feeling that lingers long after you are done reading. Or plainly I own this book and enjoyed it so much that I have not put it on paperbackswap (not being selfish just re-read it from time to time).

After reading Like Crazy on an Ordinary Day this book really follows the story line how one sister moves on with her life. It's really empowering to all women and I love her descriptions of life in a black town and how there really are major lifestyle differences in other cultures and races. It opened my eyes even wider and I truly enjoyed Pearl Cleage's writing style.
Continuation of characters from What Seems Like Crazy On An Ordinary Day. Serious dialogue re:relationships and generously laced with humor.
One of the most amazing books I have ever read!
Pearl Cleage has been added to my favorite authors list! This book was wonderful. Be sure to read the previous one first - it sets the stage. I can't wait for more from this author!

I really enjoyed this story. Cleage is a wonderful writer!!
Audio abridgement approved by the author. Read by the author. Very enjoyable story about love and empowerment. Good characters, funny and serious at times. A nice light read (or should I say "listen"?)
Wasn't impressed by this one. The first was much better.
Didn't finish. Not nearly as good as What Looks Like Crazy on an Ordinary Day.
All at once wickedly funny and passionately romantic. Unforgettable.
Sequel to the Ophah's Book Club Choice - What Looks Like Crazy On An Ordinary Day. Like new condition
