Good book. Family drama, lots of good characters, nice resolution. Juliet is an artist living in Mexico who is going through a divorce when her brother in New England calls and asks her to come home and care for their mother who fell and broke her hip. Juliet and her mother are estranged and her mother is difficult at best. And her mother has a difficult relationship with Claire, the woman next door. Lots of family secrets come out - like that Claire is her mother's sister and Juliet's biological mother. Some other side characters - men who are friends and lovers - but the main relationships are Juliet, her mother and Claire. By the end of the book they are starting to peacefully come together.
