I have a bunch of wishlisted cookbooks that I am done with but I've already got plenty of credits and while I want to make someone happy by fulfilling their wishlist, I don't want to pay the shipping to mail them books. I hate to just donate them to goodwill when I know there are people out there who want them but shipping is so expensive when I don't really need any credits. Ultimately the best thing for me would be to have 1 person request multiples from me but since they are wishlisted they will all go to different people who are at the top of the wishlist...... Thoughts? Last Edited on: 7/21/14 7:29 PM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

Thanks. I'm a longtime member of PBS but I don't use the forums much so thank you- I'll try that! |

I collect cookbooks and would love to try to work out something with you. My email is beg1nagn@gmail.com if you wish to contact me outside PBS. I understand your situation and would love a chance to help out! Thanks and I hope you still have them! Stephanie

There is a simple fix, if BOTH you and the recipient are gold key members. Have yourselves linked as friends. Have your recipient list ALL the books you are willing to part with on her wish list. You can then post the books directly to her wish list, which bypasses the FIFO rule. As far as the credits are concerned, the receiving member will be charged one credit for each book you send out; however, if you choose to gift a portion of the credits back to her, that is up to you. |
