Continuation of World Made by Hand but not as good. Some well thought out ideas but some plot lines were too far fetched for me. An understanding of Brother Jobe's character in particular eludes me. I do hope he keeps this series going as my interest is definitely peeked

I'm not sure where to start. I liked the first book but this one was awful. Multiple, rather detailed descriptions of masturbation (in front of children) and a chapter with an 11 year old and a 13 year old having sex with far more detail than necessary really put me off and I don't consider myself a prude.
The book has 70+ chapters most of which are 2-4 pages long which jump spastically from one story to another and back again.
This is just a pet peeve of mine but the author constantly refers to "automatic pistols". When he mentions the make/model they're semi-autos.
And for anyone reading about the herbal references thinking they might be learning something please know that one of the herbs referenced more than once, monkshood, is so poisonous that it is recommended to use rubber gloves just to plant the seeds. It can poison you just to harvest the leaves bare-handed. Please please do not think that the "home-brews" are something to try.
Anyone who wants my copy can have it.
