I picked this up because I love Ann Aguirre's work. I enjoyed her Corine Solomine series, loved the Jax series, and her writing as Mira Grant. However, I just couldn't get into this. It was a cute story with likeable characters, but I was bored until the midway point. I also felt the ending was too neatly tied up, which is on par for the book, but it felt lackluster to me.
