Strange story about paranormal and witchcraft - pretty good reading - story takes palce in small town in where 3 women were hung for witchcraft and murder in the 1800's. They in turn bestowed a curse on the town which has now re-surfaced. The story revolves around 3 women of the current time who become possessed by the older witches. There also seems to be some type of creatures flying around and murdering the local townspeople. Quite read and interesting

This is the firest of 3 books in the Wendy Ward saga of fighting witches and monsters.....and not the type of witches you are used to, these are very dark and scary ones. They were supposed to make a movie version but it still has not happened. Great books.....too bad the author never shined like he did with these 3.

Wither was a great read. The imagery and suspense combined to create vivid pictures in my mind as I was reading it, so it was as if I was actually watching a movie and watching the scenes unfold before my very eyes.

If you like paranormal thrillers..this is the book for you. Three people are having nightmares of a danger approaching. And then an innocent woman's channeling ritual lets open an ancient gate by accident. A gate meant to be never be opened. And as the gate opens, a horde of demonic creatures decends on the unaware town of Windale, Massachusetts. Can the wrong be righted? Finding the right spell could be hard but it could work. Find out how by reading the book.
