This is a face-paced domestic thriller. Three women are married to one man (Seth). They get to see him one day a week - hence the names of the women are Thursday, the unreliable narrator, Monday and Tuesday. I don't know what Seth does on the other days of the week. Everyone is lying and hiding things so I was kept guessing until the surprise ending. I enjoyed the author's writing so I will be checking out her other books. If you like psychological suspense then you will enjoy this book. It was a bit far-fetched but enjoyable.

I started out with mixed feelings on this book. It is about 3 women married to one man. They don't live together and are not supposed to contact each other. By agreement, they have their own certain days that they see their husband. This story is told through one of those wives. Even though I don't understand that kind of lifestyle, I was open to it. The biggest problem I had was how submissive this wife was. Trying to do anything she could to please her husband. She was weak and a bit irritating. It was really hard to read. But as we go along, she starts to change. She gets tired of how they are each treated. At about halfway through the book something happens that turns the whole story around. It was then that I found I could hardly put the book down. Once finished, all I could keep saying was "that was crazy!".

OMG - this is such a fast, twisty, turny read - I loved it! I could hardly put it down. Psychological suspense at it's finest.

Imagine that your husband has two other wives. Thursday is married to Seth and sees him only once a week on Thursdays. Seth has 2 other wives and he sees them on Monday and Tuesday. While doing laundry, Thursday finds a scrap of paper in Seth's pocket; an appointment reminder for a woman named Hannah, and you just know it's another of his wives. You track her down, and, under false pretenses, you strike up a friendship with Hannah and she has no idea who you really are. You start to see bruises on Hannah and realize she's being abused by her husband who is your husband too. You've never know him to be violent. Who exactly is your husband, and how far would you be willing to go to find out? And who is his mysterious third wife?
This is a fast-paced, twisty thriller with an unreliable narrator. Everyone seems to be lying and hiding secrets. I found all the characters intriguing. This is my first Tarryn Fisher read but won't be my last. I look forward to reading The Wrong Family and some of her other books. If you like psychological suspense then you will enjoy this book.

This was awful. Reviews claimed it was a page turner with an unpredictable ending. This is basically one of those novels about a crazy person where an entire story is told and then the "twist" is that the person is crazy and made up the whole thing. Talentless drivel and a waste of the paper it's printed on.

I got about half way though this book before the actual story started. There are so many 'What?' moments, you keep. asking yourself 'Why would anyone do that?' I finished it just to say I had, really. If you don't have anything better on hand to read, this should be ok.

Young woman is married to Seth. She has entered into a polygamous marriage, knowing that he has two other wives and she can only spend one night and day with him. She gets curious and seeks out his other wives.
This is where this book does a total turn-around and becomes frightening.

Intense, fast paced roller coaster ride.
Hang on once you have read that first page cause you are going on a ride.
You will keep guessing and still not know what is going to happen.
Exciting. And that ending is WOW!
