This book read like many of the other animal featured mysteries which I find more and more that I don't particularly care for. The dog is featured prominently in that Annie O'Hara seems to be constantly feeding him, telling him to be quiet or dragging him off to the bathroom when someone arrives. In my opinion Claudius needs a good obedience school!

Second in the series, I really enjoyed this book. It was well written, and the plot kept you guessing. Did not know who dunit until the end of the book. Annie relatioinship with Claudius is complicated. Not every one likes the dog. There were times while I was reading this I was talking @ the book, telling Annie you should not really go there. A very good read!
