The plot of book takes place during WWI in Germany. Rosa Sauer faces life by herself after both of her parents die,
her husband Gregor is off fighting on the front lines. Rosa leaves war-torn Berlin to live with her in-laws, looking for refuge. Rosa is conscripted to become one of Hitler's
women taste-testers, in preventing the Fuhrer being poisoned. The women become closer, even with their very
different backgrounds. The book written by a very talented author. One of the better books I've read in awhile.
