This is honestly more about the political setting and the men in the different women's lives than the women themselves. I understand that there is not much direct information on the women themselves a lot of times. That it is often inferences from the situation or actions of others that we see their actions (or assume them as in the case of this book). Therefore I'm not too sure why this book was ultimately titled and marketed like it was. It is more about the men in the earlier women's lives and later on about how the women affected politics. I admit the only part I truly enjoyed and though was well done was the part about Margaret of Anjou.
