Early in the book it takes the heroine 2 pages to get into a truck. I still re-read that and laugh every time. The story keeps getting better. Since this courtship takes more than a year, get ready to read some well-crafted training activities and adventures where the author's writing moves you along tensely and quickly. This book is a keeper for me.
EDIT: Wanted to add that the sub-plot could have been left out entirely and used for the next book in a series. Even during the first read-thru it was slow-going through those portions.
