What a great story that was really well written. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the history of the Florida Keys and the lighthouses there. I had a hard time putting it down, I couldn't wait to find out what would happen next.

I really enjoyed this book. Very well written...a bit of romance, history and heartbreak. Highly recommended.

This is a great book. Although rated as fiction, the author admits using a lot of actual historical accounts of female lighthouse keepers' actual experiences.
It has a great story line that makes you not want to put the book down. There is some much history woven through the book, but not the kind that bogs you down...the kind that flows along and makes the facts come alive for you.

Just, all in all, a great, easy to read and follow book.

There are some very sad, tragic parts, and some very surprising parts too.
