Story of four survivors in the aftermath of the sinking of the Titanic, including an Irishwoman in third class, an American millionaire, a first class steward, and a young Englishwoman. Fast moving narrative; hard to put down when describing the sinking and the pandemonium on deck. Lives after rescue are plausible, and include mysteries and intrigues.
