Although it took me longer to read this book than usual. I appreciate all of the details and thoroughness that was used to describe each of the women. It sometimes became tedious because of the details but I also recognize that it was necessary to get the full picture.

Victoria Rowell reveals the struggle she went through as a foster child, moving from family to family. Yet in each case she was lucky to have her foster family love her and support her in her dreams and career. She identifies, describes, and thanks all the women in her life who helped her along a difficult path, but one that ends in a fulfilling life.
Not only a peek into the life of a now well-known actress and activist, but a insight into the struggles all foster children face. Let's pray they can all end up as happy as Ms. Rowell.
