What an amazing, powerful book. I could barely put it down. Yttrup has done a fantastic job of telling a story of terrible loss, horrible abuse, and the healing that only God is able to do. She webs the tale without morbid details - and in a way that leaves no doubt for the reader to know what travesty little Kaylee has experienced.
As Sierra finally opens her hardened heart from the loss of her daughter 12 years earlier, a love flows from her like she has never experienced into little Kaylee.
This story may bring great pain to those that have endured abuse; however,I would recommend it for all to see that healing is possible.
Run, don't walk, to the nearest bookstore for a copy of this book. You will not be disappointed!
